Dart Season 3, Episode 4
(JENNY is waiting outide of the CHEER building at night. She’s restless, shifting her weight from foot to foot as she hides in the shadows.)
Come on, man, hurry up. I feel like I’m under a frigging spotlight out here. He said meet him outside of the electrical building on their campus. It feels like a trap, but it’s not like I have many other options here.
(There’s a pause)
Obviously I’m armed. I’m not an amateur out here. I know you were about to ask that, Rory. If you’re here at all. Are you?
(Pissed) You better fucking be. It’s your fault I’m doing this.
Maybe that was too harsh. But you’ve been pretty damn mean to me, you know? So I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings. You hurt mine when you went behind my back and died. Where is this guy? He should have been here already. Are you sure he’s trustworthy? No, of course not. But what choice do I have?
(JENNY gasps as footsteps approach her. It’s the guy from the phone call, the one who got her out of the building.)
There you are. I thought you were chickening out or something. What took you-
(He interrupts her with a sharp SHHH noise and she stops talking. She waits, but he doesn’t say anything. Instead, he starts to walk toward the building.)
Wait, where are you- oh, wait up!
(She hurries after him.)
(The scene fades back in as GUY opens a door in the side of the building for her. He shoves a note in her hand, then pushes her into the building.
SHH! Take it.
(The door shuts and JENNY starts to walk down the echoey hallway. Then there is the muffled sound of a gunshot outside the door.)
